Chicken Seekh Kebabs With Mint And Coriander Chutney

Chicken Seekh Kebabs are savory and flavorful grilled chicken skewers, seasoned with aromatic spices and herbs, perfect for a delicious appetizer or main dish.

  • 500g chicken fillets
  • 1 onion
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 15ml chopped ginger
  • 2 chilies
  • 5ml garam masala
  • 5ml salt
  • Coriander
  • Zest of 1 lemon

Mint and Coriander Chutney

  • 125ml yoghurt
  • 30ml lemon juice
  • 125ml fresh coriander
  • 125ml fresh mint
  • 1 chopped jalapeño
  • 10ml fresh ginger
  • 1 garlic clove
  • Salt
  • 30ml oil
  • 5ml sugar

  • Mix together all the ingredients and chill
  • Make 50g balls and place the meat on a skewer (soaked in cold water for 30 minutes) – shape the seekh kebab around the skewer
  • Heat a little sunflower oil in a frying pan on medium heat and cook on both sides until golden brown
  • Serve with the mint and coriander chutney and lemon wedges

Combine all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
